Thanks to many donations, a grant from the Petree Grant Foundation and the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Lester and Mattie Meyer Library was created. The library has continued to evolve and grow through a grant received by the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Bird Health Science Library (BHS). The Meyer Library is now an affiliate location for the BHS Library via Internet access. This partnership allows the Meyer Library to provide both print and electronic information regarding elder diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's. The Meyer Library provides training and education opportunities for residents of Epworth Villa, their families, and the community.
