| Dennis Pendleton joined the Epworth Villa staff after four and one half years as a chaplain with Mission Hospice, eleven years as a chaplain with Integris Baptist Medical Center and twenty years as a pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Colorado, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Rev. Pendleton holds a B.A. degree from Phillips University, a Master of Religious Education and M.Div. from Phillips Theological Seminary. He received Clinical Pastoral Education from the State Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado and from the Pastoral Care Dept. of Integris Baptist Medical Center. Rev. Pendleton has received two years training in spiritual direction from Heart Paths, is a member of Spiritual Directors International and is a Board Certified Chaplain of the Association of Professional Chaplains.
Rev. Pendleton is the father of six grown children and the grand father of four.
He is married to Rev. Karrie Oertli and is a member of Southern Hills Christian Church in Edmond.
