Why Your Support of Epworth Villa is Needed
The Benevolent Fund provides benevolence assistance for people living within the Epworth Villa community who outlive their financial resources. Gifts given to this fund are commemorated on our giving sculpture called The Trees of Love — a Grove of Sharing. This beautiful sculpture was dedicated in May 2006.
Other gifts are used to support fundraising for building projects (new construction and remodeling of current structures), grounds improvements and smaller, focused projects that benefit our community.
Unrestricted gifts made during the donor’s lifetime or through the donor’s estate are used to benefit our community as determined by senior management and the Board of Directors.
How to Make Gifts to Epworth Villa
Tax deductible gift may be made in the form of cash gifts, gifts in kind, pledge gifts, gifts of stocks and securities, and gifts of real or personal property. Planned gifts such as gift annuities, charitable trusts, life insurance policies, and pensions and retirement plan funds are possible. Significant gifts are made through estate gifts in the form of bequests and trust distributions.
